Driving with bright lights.

Alright here is my question. Why do people use their high beam lights on the freeway?? Is it illegal?? Can't you see with the lights on the freeway?? This is one of Stews biggest pet peeves! He freaks out when people use them even when they are not on the freeway. I guess I think it is fine to use them when you are on side roads but why on the freeway? Maybe if you can't see what you are doing maybe you shouldn't be driving??

Poor Hutchy puppy

Today Hutch went into the vet to have surgery...He got neutered....It is so sad because this morning it was just me and him spending time with each other and he was like oh it is just me and mommy today!!! Where is she taking me? So well we pull up to the vet and he is so excited but he still didn't understand what we were doing. So then he looks out the car window and he saw a friend. He saw Janelle and Ryan's dog Cooper. SO he got really excited. So I took him in and got all the paperwork ready for him gave him a big kiss and a hug and let him go. Let me tell you this is the 4th surgery I have gone through and I am so scared that they wont make it out of it. (my grandparents had a dog that went in just for a teeth cleaning and she never woke up from it) So good news he woke up but he had a bad reaction to one of the drugs and he was throwing up and swollen...So I didn't get to bring him home tonight. SO he is just laying in a kennel all alone wondering why his mommy hates him! So I cant wait to pick him up tomorrow and love that little man to death. But the nasty part that I didn't know was that his "ball sack" skin will still be there....Yuck! What is that for?? Why cant they just take that off while they are already in there? I guess it will shrink and kind of go away but YUCK! how long will that take?!?!?!?!? OK till next time!

Blogging

Well I was talking to my friend Stef today as I was getting home and doing some things on the computer and I was like ok now I am going to my blog...She was like yea I have been waiting for an update on that! So I told her that I don't have a lot of time or energy to go on my computer when I get home from work. So I am going to let everyone know that I will update at least 2 times a week. I will do this on my days off!!! And well tomorrow just happens to be one of those days!!!

Being sick.

So after working a 58 hours work week 2 weeks ago I am pretty sure I made myself sick! I think I worked so much and I made myself so exhausted I actually got a horrible cold! So I spent my 2 days off last week laying in bed feeling like crap! Thank god for Stew though! He was so good to me! He made me eat and he made me get up and move around. I am very lucky to have him as my hubby! Sucks to be all of you ladies that don't have my Stew Stew!!

New journey

Well as of tomorrow I am starting my new journey into retail. I am very excited to start my new position but I am also kind of nervous! I know I am good at what I do so I know I will be successful at this position however it is going to be a hard transition. I hope that all of my new employees like me and listen to what I have to say!! I am sure there are going to be a few that are not happy with the change but I hope I can win them over! Do things really happen for a reason?

The question of the day for me is do things really happen for a reason? So many bad things happen in life and we ask why? Well this is how I got to this question. When I got pregnant and then lost the baby did if really happen for the good of my life? Or did FFIC treat me so bad that I left the company? Well because if these things didn't happen to me I wouldn't have gotten the job at Charlotte and then I wouldn't have gotten my promotion. So do things really happen for a reason or is it something else? Because then I say why do children die? Or WHY 9.11.01?? Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Promotion!

Well as you know I recently started a new job. Well it was my goal to move up in the company at some point in my career. Well I was approached by my boss and she said Erin how would you feel if I wanted to interview you for a store manager position. I was like YES! I would love that! Well I interviewed for the position with her and it went very good and I was so excited about it! Then a couple of weeks went by and I figured that she decided on someone else for the job. Well she talked to me about it again and then this is when things started to happen. To make a long story short I was offered a store manager position with my company! I am so excited to start this new path in my life! But I am also kind of nervous as well. I will keep you all updated on my life as a store manager and what new things will come at me!! Hutch's 1st Birthday party!

Ok so Yes I am very weird! I had a birthday party for my dog Hutch. He turned one on wednesday September 3rd. We had pupcakes for the dogs and cupcakes for the humans. All of hutch's friends came over and they played and ate bones and had cake! He had so much fun! But let me tell you it was a lot of work for a dog party! But oh well he is worth it!

Ok so I am sorry I havent been on here for a long time! I will try to do better with my blogs!!! I do have some fun updates though!!!

WTF!!!

OK so I am just so mad at my dogs I just had to blog about it! OK so here I am again cleaning my house and well I am almost done and I get to the spare bedroom and I find a WET SPOT on the bed! So a dog fricken went to the bathroom on my spare bed! What is wrong with these dogs? I don't understand why they think that they can just go and pee on the bed? I mean if they had to go why not on the floor? It would be that much easier to clean up then having to wash everything on that bed! WHY WHY WHY?? I don't get it!

Minnesota state fair time!

Well it is time for the MN state fair! It starts tomorrow Thursday August 21st and goes till labor day. Let me tell you, if you have never been to the MN state fair you have got to go! It is the best! Is it that one day you go and eat everything in sight that you would probably not eat during the rest of the year! My all time favorite is CHEESE CURDS!! I love love love them!! Then I would have to say the corn dogs, the the Luigi fries! On man I could keep going on and on and on! But I wont! I am so excited to go this year! I am going with my best friend Stef and her husband and of course my hubby man! But Stef is preggo so she really can go all out! But even though I am not preggo I am still going to go all out and I am not going to look back at all. I am going to keep going and when I see something I want to eat I am going to eat it! NO DIETS THAT DAY! But the MN state fair is not just all about the food...Although it is a HUGE part. There are a lot of other things you can see and do. The Midway is a big part of the fair. They have a ton of games and rides! Stew and I have decided that we are not going to go into the midway this year because we spend too much money there and we really get nothing out of it. But there are also animals and cars and tractors and spas and many more things! You really should come out and experience the MN state fair! It is great!

Fitting Rooms

So when you go into a fitting room at a store where someone who works there has to let you in do yo wait for the person to put your clothes in the room then go in or do you try to get in while the person is trying to get out? Let me tell you the majority of people who are getting a room try to go in while you are putting their stuff in the room or try to go in while you are trying to get out. I don't understand why people do this. It causes so many problems...Both of you being un-comfortable and it makes the person who is working mad and confused! But let me know what you do if you go into dressing rooms. If you do go in dressing rooms please wait for the person to leave to go into the room. THANKS!

Stealing

Oh so now that I am back into retail and I am back into a prime place for people to steal I have realized how much it bothers me when people think that they can get away with stealing... I mean why cant you buy it? I do have to say I have stole before but nothing like these people do! I mean they take sensors off jeans and jackets or put shoes on and walk out with them on...I mean really! WTF! GET A JOB and BUY IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! Oh that's my thoughts on people who steal! I DON'T LIKE THEM!

Olympics!

Well its now time for the summer Olympics! Stew and I watched the whole opening ceremony on Friday 08/08/08 and let me tell you. I thought that it was amazing! I really did!!! How they did all of the stuff that they did and how they got all 2008 people to do the same thing at the same time was amazing! Coming from a dancing background I know how hard it can be to get everyone on the same beat. But the Chinese people did it! They were awesome! There was a routine that they did that they had to make a perfect circle with all 2008 people and man they did it! The announcers said that there wasn't any markings on the floor! I just cant believe how good it was! I loved it!

Am I crazy if I.......

OK so I was thinking today what if I stumbled upon a Kitty that had no home and was starving...Would I bring the kitty home and get it healthy and keep it or would/could I bring it to the pound?? Because let me tell you what I would do...I would make sure it was healthy and KEEP it! I know really one more cat? I am already crazy for having 5 animals and yes I do complain about all the hair and all the other crap they do but still....So would I be that crazy to add just one more??? Just to make it clear I am not going to go get one more this would be if I found one and it was sad and needed a Mommy and a nice warm house (or cool house depending on the time of the year)

FEET

FEET! Yuck I hate feel! I think that they are so ugly!!! BUT i love it when my dog licks my feet...Is that weird? Because I am pretty sure a lot of people hate it and yell at the dog if they are doing that. But yesterday I came home from work and my feet hurt so bad and I was so tired it actually felt good this time! I didn't just think it was cute. So she kept doing it like all through the night and this morning was still going at it! I know I am weird but what can ya do right? Does anyone else like this or does everyone this it is nasty!

Cleaning.

OK so I have all day off and my plans were to clean my house. Well it is 6PM and I haven't even started cleaning. I have done everything in my power to not clean this house. Even though it is a MESS! I haven't really cleaned in about 2 weeks and well we have 5 animals remember...So just imagine what my house looks and feels like!! Does anyone else do this to? How can I live in such a mess?? YUCK! OK I am going to stop doing other things and finally start to clean this nasty place!

High School

Do we ever really leave high school?? Yes we do actually leave high school but when you get older when does the "click" go away?? Do girls ever stop being bitchy and all they want to do is bash other girls?? Will girls ever stop making someone feel like they are welcome when they really are not? Like being fake to their face?? I am 24 years old and ready to start a family but the past 9 months I have felt like I have been in high school...Not by choice. So what are your thought and comments? When can I expect this to go away if ever? Because I DON'T LIKE IT!

Finally!

Well we finally got our new car! I LOVE it! It is perfect!!! We decided on getting a Mazda Tribute. It is black with black leather seats! It is pretty much fully loaded. We were very happy to learn that it has a remote start! We didn’t know that when we were looking at the car! The car that I had before this one was a 2006 Ford Fusion. I really did like the car but I was forced to buy a car when my Malibu broke down. My Dad and Stew said I didn’t need all the stuff that I wanted in it...So I didn’t get it. So now I have everything that I want in my car! I got my V6 engine back!! It has leather seats! Sunroof and a remote start! So I am pretty happy! I don’t have pictures yet because I am lazy but I will get some up this weekend

Animals

All animals are so unique and their own self. I was thinking last night about how annoying and different my animals are. I have 5!! I have a cat Burt who loves ice. So anytime you are in the kitchen he is right there at the fridge freaking out until you give him a piece of ice! He does this all the time...You don’t just have to be in the kitchen. Then he will take the ice cube and play with it. He loves to bring it in the bathroom and play with it because there are so many things it will hit and bounce back at. My dog Starsky now she knows what time it is so everyday at about 5:30am she will start to pace in the bedroom because it is breakfast time. She acts like she has never had a meal in her life and she is starving. Then at about 5PM she starts again...But let me tell you she is not starving because we feed her 4 cups a day! She also doesn’t like to play fetch she would rather fake getting the ball and run back so fast and wait for Hutch to come back then right when he passes her she attacks him! It is pretty funny! Ernie my beautiful cat well she just hates people...But she isn’t mean to them she just doesn’t come around. If she does come around it is because I am around but then she will bolt up the stairs and sit on her throne in the loft. Hutch well he is so darn cute! But he is very annoying when it comes to toys he will play all night if he could. He will just keep bringing the toy and setting it in your lap. He will do this no matter if you yell at him or not. Then he will destroy the toy if you don’t play with him. Finally Oscar he loves to sit on my lap and head butt my face. I don’t know why but he does it. He wont do it to Stew only me. It was cute a long time ago when he was a kitty but now he is so big and it actually kind of hurts!! Oscar will also lay on my chest when I am sleeping and suck on my blanket. Don’t ask...I have no clue! Like I said they are so unique! I love them all though!

Karma.

What do people think of Karma?? When you do something bad or something that you know is wrong, does something bad really happen to you?? I totally believe in Karma I think that if you do something bad to someone or just don’t act like a normal person you should get what’s coming to you. So next time you want to do something that you don’t think is right maybe think again. It may come back to bite you in the butt....Or if you decide to do something nice for someone or something will you get rewarded?? Do good people have better Karma??

Traffic!

Oh man do I hate traffic! I thought that since I am working closer to home my drive wouldn't be so bad! Well it is just as bad and takes me just as long! However I don't use as much gas because I am not driving 50-60 miles per day but I still hate sitting in traffic! Just wanted to vent a little bit!!

Wedding scrapbook!

I finally finished it! After being married for 9 months! It is done! I am very happy with it and so excited to show everyone! Me and my sister take a weekend just to scrapbook 2 times a year! This year we went around thanksgiving and thats when I started it! Then we went again in June and I finished it! We have so much fun up there! We have girl talk we eat lots of good food and we make a mess while scrapbooking! Oh and the BEST part is that we stay up all night and scrap! I love love love it!

NEW CAR!!!

Well Stew and I have decided to buy a new car! But this experience was NOT FUN! Let me tell you! I hate car shopping! I test drove a ton of cars and talked to a lot of sales people and had fights with Stew over it all! The worst experience that I had was with Towsley Ford. The reason why I say this is because well I felt like I was being harassed all the time! I was getting calls from the sales person 2-3 times a day!!! I will never buy a car from them ever just because of that. I will also tell people to never buy a car from them. They say they are the best but let me tell you. NOT THE BEST at selling cars...Maybe the best a harassing people! Two of my best experiences were from Polar Mazda where we are actually going to be purchasing a 2008 tribute. The sales guy was great! Showed me what I was asking for and they gave me a great price for the car! The other place is Barnett Jeep. I went there with Stew looking at a Jeep compass and they were not pushy and gave us time to talk. Although I didn’t buy my car from them I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Jeep, Dodge or a Kia. I will post pictures once I get my car!

New job!!!

Well today I started my new job at Charlotte Russe as a Senior Manager. For all of you who don’t know me I have been working in an office for the past 4 years so this is a whole new change for me. The store is great! The people are great!! (the people that I have met) And not to mention the clothes are cute and the pay is also great! So I think I am going to be very happy there! I decided to leave because when I was working retail before I left to go to an office I was very happy. Then I take a look back at my other jobs and I realize that I wasn’t happy there. Yes I had weekends off and nights but well is that worth it if you are not happy?? I didn’t think so because why be stuck somewhere if you really hate going there?? So that’s why I decided to make the change! I will update you on how things are going but for now I am very happy with my change.

Ok I think I am ready to tell all...

Well late may early June I found out that I had a miscarriage. Stew and I decided that we wanted to start to try to have kids. Well thinking that this would be easy because my sister got pregnant on birth control!!! My mom also got pregnant with me and my sister very easy. Well turns out it isn’t that easy to have a baby. We had been trying in secret since about February and then the secret came out once this happened. To me this was very devastating it was very painful both mentally and physically. I was at the doctors a lot in just one month trying to get healthy. I really tried to stay positive and work though it but it wasn’t something that I could do on my own and that is how I felt. Although I had my friends and family there with me it was just something that no one could really help me with. They did their best at trying to make me feel better about it. I finally decided to talk to a shrink...He was pretty helpful but couldn’t see me everyday like I needed. Plus a 20.00 co-pay every time I went could get pretty spendy quick. So I went to my regular doctor and got drugs! Thank god for them! Because they really helped me!! Although I am still upset about what happened and I am still very sensitive to what people say or do towards me no matter what I am finally doing ok. Stew and I are still going to try to have a baby and I thank god everyday for such a great husband. He really learned how to deal with my emotions and understand what I was going through. I love him!!

Blogging....

Well I haven’t blogged in a very long time! I am so sorry! Well I will post a few things in the next couple of days to update everyone on my life and my thoughts.
Well so much has happened in the last couple of months/weeks. The last time I blogged was actually the first time I wrote on this blog. Since then I have finished my wedding scrapbook! Got a new job and went through some very personal things in my life.

Hugo Tornado May 25th 2008

On memorial Day weekend Hugo MN was hit with a EF3 tornado at about 5:01PM on Sunday May 25Th. Stew and I came back to a pretty sad day in Hugo. So of course with us being residents of Hugo we wanted to go look at all the damage when we got home. So we went on a walk and looked at all the damage. It was pretty sad for what we could see so early after the storm. Many people lost a lot of memories and stuff that they worked hard for all their life. A life was also lost that night too. A little boy named Nathaniel Prindle he was 2 years old. The tornado probably took about 2 minutes to go throw Hugo and destroy everything in its path. It is so sad to think that something can just come out of the blue and take it all away. Well last night we went back there again and drove around and it actually is starting to look like a neighborhood again. People are outside playing with their kids, planting flowers, mowing their grass. Neighbors were out having a BBQ with other neighbors. Houses that were leveled were already being re-built and houses that were damaged are being fixed. That made me feel very good about how these people are dealing with this total loss. My neighborhood was hit by the tornado but the damage was not that bad. We got very lucky on this one. But I know that if our house was directly hit by the tornado people would have been there to help us pick up and move on. Hugo is a great community to live in and there are a lot of good people here! I am happy to be a resident of such a great community!!

Married Life

Married life is great! However it doesn't seem much different than my life before I got married. We lived together and we shared everything already. So what is different? Well I got more back on my taxes!!! I got to throw a huge beautiful party (Monica would say "if you call my wedding a party one more time I will beat you") And I have all the memories of the wedding day! But life isn't really different. I had a friend get married and I asked him how does it feel to be married now and he was like not different at all! Then I thought to myself I hated it when people asked me that question because it really isn't different at all. We have been married for 9 months now and lived in our new house for 9 months. It went by so fast and i can't believe that it has almost been a whole year! WOW! Time does fly! I love being married because I have my ring that I wanted for so long and I even got Stew to add onto it already! WOW!!

Weather

OK so what is going on with this MN weather? We had a bad winter and now a bad spring! I mean it snowed in spring! And I am pretty sure that we have had severe weather the last month every weekend! It all started memorial day weekend. The tornado went through Hugo while we were away at the cabin. The next weekend we had tornado warnings thank god nothing happened. Then again the next weekend and last night. Why can't we just have nice weather? I am pretty happy about the day today because it is actually sunny out and pretty hot! When will we get a nice weekend and not have to worry about a tornado coming and taking our life away?

My First Blog

Well I am sitting here at work doing NOTHING and I was thinking what could I do to make myself look busy and really actually keep me busy. So I thought hey why not look at my sisters blog. So I did and then I remembered she wanted me to start one. So here you go Michelle. I will try this out and see how it works!! Now I really don't know what to say or do so people have to tell me what I need to do on this! I will try to put up pictures for everyone to look at. Until next time!
